| The timeless theme of the three ages of woman is addressed in psychedelic fury. A young girl emerges from the garden womb, entangled in viney apron strings, only to fall prey to the whims of society, and the erosion of self. The horrors of body consciousness, loss of identity, and the fading of personal vision all lead to her drawing the hood over her head, (Just as the universe, pictured above her, infested with insects, enters her space) to view from afar, her naked soul , now only free in death. A higher consciousness, hallucinatory exploration of regret and doom. A close examination of this work will reveal a script, painted in Korean, that reads; "Our world is but an atom in the fabric of time and space." | |
